The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 could be equipped with a stronger and faster camera made specifically for a Samsung device, according to Geeky Gadgets.
Rumors about the camera have already suggested 13 megapixels, the same amount that comes with the Samsung Galaxy S4’s camera.
Analysts and Samsung fans found out about the new camera features, through a Samsung executive’s interview with etnews.
“We are pondering various technologies at this stage – for example, OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and shutter functions. But, nothing has yet to be confirmed, so we cannot conclusively say that those functions will be added to the Galaxy Note 3,” said the executive.
In addition to its camera the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is expected to improve its display. Sources say the camera will feature a 1920 x 1080 HD screen that measures up to 5.99 inches.
According to an appearance on AnTuTu Benchmark the phone could also run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. The screenshot of AnTuTu Benchmark shows the phone also using an Octa-pore Exynos 5 processor running at 1.6 GHz.
GSM Arena pointed out, “Notes typically have overclocked chipsets compared to their Galaxy S counterparts, so we expect the finished product to be clocked higher than 1.6GHz.”
Many analysts have suggested a June 20th announcement for the phone at a Samsung press event in London, England.
Rumors have also pointed to a release during the IFA conference in Berlin, Germany which takes place from September 6-11.
Apple is expected to compete with the release of the Note 3 by releasing the iPhone 5s sometime during either September or October.
