The Miami Hurricanes play the Virginia Tech Hokies on Thursday. Kickoff is at 8:00 p.m. ET. Watch the live stream or listen to the radio broadcast via the links provided below.
Virginia Tech (4-3) has been uneven so far this season. They've lost three of their last five games, including a 21-16 loss at Pittsburgh on Oct. 16. The Hokies wouldn't be out of contention for a conference title if they were to lose Thursday night, but it'd make their pursuit a lot more difficult.
Part of the Hokies' struggles have been with consistency on offense, where junior quarterback Michael Brewer already has 11 interceptions for the season to match his 11 touchdown passes. The running game hasn't been much better, with lead rushers Marshawn Williams and Shai McKenzie combining for just over 600 yards on the ground.
Miami (4-3) is in the same boat and just as needy for a win as Thursday night football returns to Lane Stadium.
"I don't think I would pick anyone over Miami to play Thursday night here," said Virginia Tech receiver Willie Byrn, via ESPN. "Both teams are in dire need of a win. We did a good job last year (beating Miami). We played them Saturday night at their place. We played pretty well and made them a little mad, so I know they're going to want some payback. We all want to get their best shot and they're going to get ours."
Miami has also been inconsistent. They bounced back from a loss at Georgia Tech with a 55-34 win against Cincinnati. Running back Duke Johnson has 787 yards on the ground with six touchdowns, and quarterback Brad Kaaya has thrown for 1,806 yards and 16 touchdowns to nine interceptions.
