Larry Flynt's Daughter On Life Support After Drunken Crash

Hustler Magazine publisher Larry Flynt's daughter, Lisa, ran into a tractor trailer on Saturday while she was intoxicated and is now on life support, Dayton Daily News reported on Monday.

Flynt likely had a seizure before the crash, as she has a history of seizures and had four others recently. She also was reportedly an unlicensed driver. The next 72 hours will be of utmost importantance for her recovery, and her husband, Glenn, said he appreciated everyone's well wishes, Fox News reported.

According to police, Flynt failed to stop at a stop sign as she was exiting Serro Place in Dayton, Ohio. Flynt was ejected from the car after the truck hit the left front side of the vehicle, and she was found underneath it with near-fatal injuries. She remains in intensive care at Miami Valley Hospital.

The truck was driven by Ian A. Givens, 45, of Riverside, and owned by USF Holland Trucking. The company has a truck depot close to where the crash with Flynt occurred.

The Oldsmobile Flynt was driving in the crash is owned by Amanda Carson of Dayton, according to police.

Cierra D. Mallory, 24, Flynt's passenger, was treated and released from Grandview Hospital in Dayton.

Larry Flynt, 71, is the publisher of Hustler magazine and the chairman of the company that also owns video services, television channels, websites, a retail store and a casino near Los Angeles. He started the adult entertainment empire in Dayton with a few "go-go" bars throughout the 1960s.

He also won the famous U.S. Supreme Court case regarding the First Amendment, Hustler Magazine V. Falwell, in 1988.
