A man who often does inventive parachute jumps became a real life Angry Bird with his most recent jump.
Tancrede Melet's most recent jump was from a catapult filled with feathers, which launched him in the air. His jump was strikingly similar to the addicting animated game developed by Rovio Entertainment, which was first released for Apple iOS in December 2009.
As many people do when they have a cool idea, Melet brought a selfie stick with him on the jump so he could record his unique jump.
Melet also practices slack line, high line, alpinism, climbing, paragliding, speed flying/riding, snow kite, kite surf and sailing. He decided to add parachute jumping into the mix for one reason: "it is faster to jump off a cliff, rather than walking downhill," he tells Independent.
