The CMT Music Awards 2013 was a glamorous event recognizing and appreciating country music and country artists. Carrie Underwood was awarded the Video of The Year for the fourth time in the 12-year history of the event. Miranda Lambert won the Female Video Award for "Mama's Broken Heart" and CMT Performance Video for "Over You" from the 2012 "CMT Artist of the Year" show. Her husband Blake Sheldon took home the Male Video Award for "Sure Be Cool If You Did."
Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley, who perform under the name of Florida Georgia Line, won both Breakthrough Video and Duo Video for "Cruise." Lady Antebellum won Group Video for "Downtown."
