It's not ok. Nikki Ferrell may have won Season 18 of "The Bachelor" but she couldn't hold onto Juan Pablo's heart. According to several reports, the reality TV couple called it quits this weekend. It's not clear what caused the split but if we had to guess, we'd say it had something to do with Juan Pablo Galavis never telling the 27-year-old Kansas City nurse he loved her.
If you remember, Galavis was attacked by Bachelor Nation because he told Ferrell "I like you" instead of "I love you" during the final rose ceremony. At the time, Ferrell said she was ok with him not saying it but the issue was later brought up on "Couples Therapy."
In one particular episode, Ferrell said her boyfriend's lack of emotional often made her "still feel like I'm waiting for him to pick me."
"I feel like why give someone 100 percent, if they're not giving you 100 percent?" she said, according to US Weekly.
"She wants to hear I love you. It's a word issue," Galavis responded. "If I say it, I mean it."
Sources told US that the breakup was a mutual decision but it was ultimately Ferrell who ended things.
"Isn't it pathetic how we waste so much time on certain people and in the end they prove that they weren't even worth a second of it," she mysteriously wrote on Instagram, captioning the photo: "Nope not one single second."
Galavis may or may not be taking the split hard. Sources said he unfollowed and followed Ferrell several different times on Twitter and Instagram over the weekend, before posting: "Sometimes you WIN, sometimes you LOSE... You will ALWAYS learn."
Another issue for Ferrell was their lack of privacy when they would try and spend alone time together, People magazine reports.
"He handles it okay," Ferrell said of the constant attention. "I don't. I struggle."
"When you're at a restaurant and someone recognizes you, you stand up and take a picture [with them]." Galavis said. "Ten seconds and then you sit. That's it. They're happy. You're happy."
"But I'm not," Ferrell said. "Because maybe I'm mid-bite or we're mid-conversation. I feel like it's extremely rude, and he doesn't feel like it."
