Ashley Greene's former building manager is claiming that cleaners found a glass crack pipe in the actress' West Hollywood apartment after it burned down in March 2013.
In a sworn deposition obtained by TMZ, building manager Adrian Mayorga is suing the "Twilight" star for permanent respiratory damage from the fire. Mayorga claimed that one of the men from the cleanup crew found a glass crack pipe in the unit.
At the time, Greene, her alleged boyfriend, actor Ryan Phillippe and her brother were reportedly sleeping in the apartment when the fire erupted. Reports claimed that an unattended candle set a living room couch on fire. The incident destroyed Green's entire apartment and killed one of her two fox terrier dogs.
In his statement, Mayorga said after the fire broke out, Greene, her brother and rumored boyfriend were in the hallway of the building and looked "disoriented...they looked like they were drunk or under the influence of something."
"The only people I saw getting treated was Ashley Greene, her brother Joe Green, and her - the current boyfriend, Ryan Phillippe," Mayorga stated.
A source told TMZ that Phillippe submitted a sworn declaration to Greene's earlier this week, claiming that he was not at the scene during the fire, nor has he ever visited Greene's apartment unit.
TMZ added that four other tenants in the building are also suing the actress. In the court documents, Mayorga also claimed that he was injured during the incident. He was allegedly hospitalized for exhaustion, dehydration and smoke inhalation
Us Weekly reported that a source close to the actress has denied Mayorga's claims.
"There was no crack pipe found in Ashley's apartment," a source said. "It's all hearsay from unnamed sources - Mayorga's claiming he heard from a friend of an unidentified worker who may have entered the apartment. Additionally, Phillippe went on the record saying he wasn't there."
"Of course Ashley was disoriented! She was awoken at 9 a.m. to her house being on fire. Who wouldn't be?" the source added.
