Bristol Palin: In New Season of “Celebrity Wife Swap” Palin Switches Lives With Comedian Joan Rivers

A new season of "Celebrity Wife Swap" is set to kick things off with Bristol Palin and her sister Willow heading to Los Angeles to switch with Joan Rivers and her daughter Melissa, USA Today reports. Joan, who isn't afraid to say exactly what's on her mind, is surprised to arrive in Wasilla, Alaska and find there is snow on the ground in May. Bristol is surprised as well by Rivers' gigantic LA home which doubles as a television production office and is the set if three TV shows.

At the Palin's. 4-year-old Tripp is the king of the castle and rules the house. According to an ABC press release, Melissa "finds it a challenge to deal with Tripp's boyish exuberance" and thinks he needs a daily routine and a little more structure.

Back in LA, Bristol is overwhelmed that camera crew men are always in and out of the home and Copper, Melissa's 12-year-old son, has a strict daily schedule. She wants to lighten things up around the Rivers' residence.

"Every day in the house is scheduled to the last minute. While the Rivers' home is bustling with assistant, crew members and cameras, the family still find time to sit down together for dinner every night," the press release said. "Stepping into Melissa's shoes, Bristol Palin is not prepared for the Rivers' formality and schedule, and is reluctant to fill in as executive producer of 'Fashion Police.'"

The episode will air June 23 at 8 p.m. on ABC. The new season will also include the girlfriend and wife of former WWE wrestlers "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair and "Rowdy" Roddy Piper on June 30. Actress Nia Peeples will swap with singer Tiffany on July 7 and three more episodes will air but the subjects have not been announced.
