Golden Joystick Awards 2014: Voting Ends, Officials Announce Winners - Who Took Home The Highest Gaming Honor This Year?

This past weekend, the 32nd annual Golden Joystick Awards were held in London. This event celebrates the best and brightest that the video game industry offered over the past year.

"Dark Souls II" took home the coveted Game of the Year award, and "Metal Gear" series creator and director Hideo Kojima was honored with a special Lifetime Achievement Award for nearly 30 years of dedication to making brilliant games. Since the ceremony is held in October, games from late 2013 are included, and games releasing later this year are only qualified for the "Most Wanted" category.
