With all the other wonderful, fanboy dizzying news churning out of the Marvel Universe these days (the kick-ass "Age of Ultron" trailer and Benedict Cumberbatch being cast as Dr. Strange...which I called right here), the "Ant Man" film that's currently shooting has become something of a red-headed step-child. It's had a rather tumultuous development, and many people lost interest and/or confidence when director Edgar Wright ("Shaun of the Dead" "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World") bailed on the project just before shooting began.
Today, several set pics have hit the Internet and they do look very intriguing. The pictures show Michael Douglas as Dr. Hank Pym and Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne, Pym's daughter. Lilly's hair has something of a "Wasp-ish" bob to it, which is cool and some sort of foreshadowing, I'm sure. Douglas,as Pym, appears to be injured in these pics, so SPOILER ALERTS are in full effect. Thanks to Screen Rant for the tip.
