The Portland Trail Blazers will allow Thomas Robinson to hit the open market as an unrestricted free agent next summer, according to Yahoo Sports.
Portland declined Robinson's fourth-year option - worth $4.6 million - on Monday.
Robinson was the fifth overall pick in the 2011 NBA draft. However, since entering the league, he has been unable to make his mark and has been traded twice already.
The Sacramento Kings drafted Robinson originally, but traded him to the Houston Rockets halfway through the season. Houston then traded Robinson to Portland in 2012 in an attempt to clear salary cap space for free agent Dwight Howard.
Robinson averaged 4.8 points and 4.4 rebounds in 12 minutes per game for the Blazers last year. The former Kansas standout is still just 23 years old. He will join stars Rajon Rondo, Marc Gasol, Paul Millsap and potentially LaMarcus Aldridge on the open market.
