As Tamar Braxton would say "she did that." Last night (June 6) the 36-year-old singer tweeted that she and husband Vincent Herbert are parents. Right after the season finale of "Braxton Family Values" the "Love and War" singer took to the social media account to announce that she had just given birth to a baby boy, Us Weekly reports.
She posted a picture to her Twitter account of three blue teddy bears surrounded by sunflowers and balloons with the caption "He's here!"
This will be the first child for the Braxton and Herbert. Braxton announced her pregnancy during a March 13 appearance on "Good Morning America."
"I feel great and greedy at the same time," she told Lara Spencer. "This is the most I've ever eaten."
Moments after revealing she was expecting she shared the news with her fans by posting a picture of her growing baby bump on Instagram.
The singer, who talked a lot about her pregnancy on "Braxton Family Values," told Us Weekly that her pregnancy was going well.
"I have a lot of energy. I'm always upbeat and everyone has to tell me to sit down somewhere," she told the magazine. "But I feel amazing."
She also confessed to the magazine that her pregnancy craving was potato chips.
The pregnancy came as a surprise to everyone. Even though her husband wanted kids, the couple had decided to wait a little while before starting a family. On one episode of the family's WEtv show, she revealed that she had frozen some of her eggs until she was ready to have a baby.
When news broke that "The One" singer was going to be starting a family sooner than expected, Herbert told Us Weekly that he was "elated."
"I'm looking forward to just love her more and being a great father to her child," he said.
The couple, who have not released the baby's name, will be back with season two of their reality show "Tamar and Vince" in September.
