Larry Gatlin is dressing for success to promote a "buy American" movement. The country star has teamed up with a number of American companies that have the same goal, according to Absolute Publicity. The result is the new Larry Gatlin Collection.
Gatlin's collection is part of the "American Legend" series, created by a collaboration of "Made in America" businesses promoting a movement to buy American products. The goal of the collaboration is to bring jobs and profits back to the U.S.
The program consists of a new line of high quality western jackets and dress jeans made in the United States that carry the Larry Gatlin name. The "American Legend" series 2014 Holiday Collection, presented by Gatlin - the series' first official legend - debuts this month in time for the holiday season.
"I'm honored to be a part of this series and I am proud of what it stands for," said the "All The Gold In California" singer. "Made in America,' that's where it's at!"

The companies involved in the series are The Sewell Companies, Diamond Gusset and Mill Town Music Hall, according to Absolute Publicity.
The Sewell Companies is an American manufacturer of men's and women's clothing and uniforms for the United States military. The company has been producing tailored garments in the south for almost 100 years.
Diamond Gusset, another clothing manufacturer, reflected strong American principles when it chose to create its jeans in a U.S. factory.
Randall Redding is the owner of Mill Town Music Hall, West Georgia's largest concert and entertainment venue.
The venue is known for offering family-friendly concerts spanning multiple music genres - from country and contemporary Christian to Southern rock, bluegrass and gospel, Absolute Publicity reported.
Gatlin has garnered more than 30 Top 40 hits. The harmonies of Larry, Rudy and Steve Gatlin - Larry Gatlin & the Gatlin Brothers - generated the country classics "All The Gold In California," "Houston (Means I'm One Day Closer To You)," "Broken Lady" and "I Just Wish You Were Someone I Love."
Gatlin hosts a weekly radio show, "The Gospel According to Gatlin," on 650 AM WSM in Nashville. He is also a regular host of the Opry Country Classics series broadcasted live from Nashville's historic Ryman Auditorium.
