Motorola has unveiled its Verizon Droid Turbo smartphone to make another addition to the Android handset line.
The feature that is getting the most attention is the device's 3,900 mAh battery, which will last for two days and is bigger than that of the Moto X, Nexus 6 and iPhone 6, according to Business Insider. Motorola also included a charger that adds eight hours and 15 minutes to the phone's battery life.
The 4.8-inch screen of the Turbo comes with a resolution of 2560 x 1440. The phone also runs on the Snapdragon 805 processor found in most new Android devices.
The Schaumburg, Illinois-based company's new handset also includes a 21-megapixel front camera that will allow users to record 1080p video, Forbes reported. Droid Turbo is also available in two finishes, nylon and fiberglass, with black and red color options.
Motorola said the device outweighs the iPhone 6 Plus at 176g, but the fiberglass back cover reduces the weight to 169g.
The phone will be available starting Thursday, Oct. 30, exclusively through Verizon for $599.99, Business Insider reported. Customers can also pay $24.99 per month for 24 months through the Verizon Edge Plan.
The Droid Turbo follows the Moto X and Nexus 6 as the third smartphone released by Motorola in recent months.
