The Chicago Bulls play the New York Knicks on Wednesday in Day 2 of the 2014 NBA season openers. Tipoff is at 8:00 p.m. ET. Watch the live stream or listen to the radio broadcast via the links provided below.
If there's an Eastern Conference team that can beat the Cleveland Cavaliers, it's Chicago. A healthy Derrick Rose, plus the addition of veteran Pau Gasol, makes the Bulls an early contender for conference final spot.
"The possibilities are endless," Bulls center Joakim Noah said, via ESPN. "I think the sky's the limit, especially when you bring a guy like Derrick back - not only what he means as a talent, but what he means to the city."
Chicago's season starts Wednesday in Madison Square Garden against a new-look Knicks team. First-year coach Derek Fisher is now at the helm of Phil Jackson's team, which is expected to struggle offensively to start the season as they adapt to the triangle offense. Knicks superstar Carmelo Anthony, though, is excited for a fresh start under a new coach and in a new system.
"I think any time you have a new coach, a new energy comes along with that. You can just walk around the building and feel that energy," said Anthony, who re-signed with the Knicks in the offseason. "You can just see everybody is rejuvenated again. Everybody wants to win, everybody wants to do what's right to help this team be successful. So at the end of the day, I believe that we'll be there at the end."
