Archaeologists in Russia uncovered mummies with ornate skin tattooing, according to Ancient Origins.
The mummies were family members of the Pazyryk tribe that lived in the mountains of Siberia during the Iron Age (600-300 BC). The tribe was nomadic and rode horses to trade wares with merchants in Persia, India and China, according to Ancient Origins.
