“Avengers: Age of Ultron” director Joss Whedon explains the magnitude of the Marvel production.
During an interview with Marvel's "The Watcher" webseries, Whedon dished about the production’s filming schedule. “Avengers: Age of Ultron” shot in the Italian Alps, England, Seoul, Korea, and Johannesburg to name a few locations.
"This is a very global film. We wanted the world perspective on The Avengers. They're being The Avengers and that's a global thing and it doesn't make everybody love them, so we wanted to see both sides of that,” Whedon said.
Some reports are speculating the director could be teasing what’s to come in “Captain America: Civil War” as Marvel Studios president Kevn Feige recently spoke about the Superhuman Registration Act, which comes during a time where people don’t trust their kind.
Chris Evans also recently dished on his character in the upcoming “Avengers: Age of Ultron” movie. Evans spoke to Buzzfeed about Captain America, who finds himself longing for more than what he has at the moment.
"He’s still looking for a home, probably a metaphorical home," Evans said. "He’s always felt comfortable as a soldier. And he likes structure. He works well taking orders. But when that dynamic turned on him, he’s now left to depend upon his team, the Avengers. There really is no one above them telling them what to do.
“They’re kind of having to operate independently. So there’s a lot of leaning on one another, but there really isn’t a kind of clear chain of command. And I think Cap looks for that. I think he’s looking to understand where he belongs, not just as a soldier, as Captain America, but as Steve Rogers, as a person."
“Avengers: Age of Ultron” will be released to theaters on May 1, 2015.
