Fantasy Football: What Should We Expect From Cleveland Browns Receiver Josh Gordon?

Cleveland Browns receiver Josh Gordon will be finishing up a 10-game suspension in the coming weeks, making him eligible to return for the team's Week 12 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.

Gordon was one of the most electric receivers in the league last year, leading the NFL in receiving yards (1,646) despite only playing in 14 games. Gordon is still unowned in over 40 percent of ESPN leagues. If fantasy owners do add the dynamic yet troubled receiver, what should they expect from him down the stretch?

"Gordon has been working really hard and I think he'll be ready to unload on the Falcons Nov. 23 in his first game back from his 10-game suspension," wrote Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

"It usually takes a player a little time to get acclimated to game speed and contact, but I have a feeling the adrenaline will take over and fans will see the All-Pro receiver Gordon was last season."

Gordon added nine touchdowns and 87 receptions to his league leading yardage total last year. It makes sense that he could pick up right where he left off against Atlanta. The Falcons currently rank 30th in opposing pass yards per game (280.8) and have allowed 10 receiving touchdowns through eight games. The running game in Cleveland has struggled of late, so quarterback Brian Hoyer may be forced to throw it more than usual.

Gordon should be added immediately if he is still available in your league. He's the type of talent that can push you into the playoffs.
