The Kentucky Music Hall of Fame is known for paying homage to a wide variety of music - from the songs of rustic mountain performers associated with a bygone era to the well-crafted and richly styled music of today. The Hall of Fame's just-announced induction class for 2015 continues that all-inclusive approach to honorees.
Those honorees are the successful country duo Montgomery Gentry, the Backstreet Boys' Kevin Richardson and Brian Littrell, Kentucky legend Doc Hopkins, singer-songwriter Larry Cordle, pioneer r&b group The Moonglows, well-known artist manager Clarence Spalding and country comedian, songwriter, musician and broadcaster Pete Stamper.
The Kentucky Music Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony is set for April 10, 2015, in Renfro Valley, Ky., at the Lexington Center's Bluegrass Ballroom.
Since its founding in 2002, the Hall of Fame has inducted more than 40 of Kentucky's most notable musicians including The Everly Brothers, Wynonna and Naomi Judd, Dwight Yoakam, Loretta Lynn, Florence Henderson, Crystal Gayle, The Kentucky Headhunters, Ricky Skaggs, John Conlee, Steve Wariner and Patty Loveless, to name a few.
Tickets for the induction ceremony are currently on sale. For more information on the 2015 Kentucky Music Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, please visit: www.kentuckymusicmuseum.com.
