Jenna Jentry’s New Album Produced By 'Redneck Woman' Gretchen Wilson

Jenna Jentry's talent is turning heads in Nashville. The Texas singer-songwriter caught the attention of The Band Perry, Scotty McCreery, Travis Tritt and others who put her into opening slots on their shows. Then she impressed country star and "Redneck Woman" Gretchen Wilson so much that Wilson produced Jentry's just-released, self-titled EP.

"Jenna has a very unique voice and writing technique that stands apart from other females in the industry. It was a pleasure working with her in the studio!" declares Wilson, who knows a lot about having a unique voice and songwriting skills.

Wilson's debut album, "Here for the Party," was certified quadruple platinum-driven by the chart-topping single "Redneck Woman." Her 2005 follow-up album, "All Jacked Up," debuted at No. 1 and was also certified platinum. In 2004, she won a Grammy Award for Best Female Country Vocal Performance and CMA's coveted Horizon Award. A year later, CMA named her Female Vocalist of the Year.

Now, Jentry is making all the right moves to create her own country music path to success.

Her new EP is powered by the single "Wise Advice," written solely by the newcomer. Other songs include "When It Wanders," "Scared" and "Only By The Grace Of God." Her co-writers include Bruce Wallace, who's penned songs for Dierks Bentley, Montgomery Gentry, Trace Adkins and Katie Armiger, and Kevin DeClue, who wrote for Hilary Duff.

Born in Dallas and raised outside of the metropolitan area, Jentry began writing poetry when she was only five years old. Poetry writing turned into songwriting, After college, she started commuting between Dallas and Nashville and eventually she made the full-time commitment to Music City.

"I've spent the past two years completely submersed in Nashville writing and growing as an artist," she explains. "I was lucky enough to be surrounded by talented and influential people in the industry, like Gretchen Wilson, and I absorbed all the knowledge I possibly could from them. I'm really proud of the four songs that made the EP, some brand new and some re-produced, and I think my fans that have grown with me along this journey will really connect with them as well."
