Comedienne Amy Poehler has found her match: fellow comedian Nick Kroll and she are dating.
The two made their first public appearance on Thursday, at AFI's 41 annual Life Achievement Award Gala in Hollywood, Yahoo reported.
Poehler recently split from her ex-husband Will Arnett-also a comedian-back in fall 2012. She attended red-carpet events alone for a long while, but showed up with the Comedy Central actor to the Hollywood Gala this week, solidifying the notion that US Weekly publicized in May, that the two were locked in a romance.
Poehler wore a midnight blue, floral dress, her hair in loose tendrils around her shining face. Kroll, clad in a black suit, also smiled big, his hand around her waist.
"They are so cute together," and eyewitness told Yahoo, saying that they could not get enough of each other during the entire evening.
"Things are going well," a friend who preferred to remain anonymous told US Weekly. "They have a lot of fun together obviously and are both real big fans of each other."
Kroll plays the character Ruxin on the semi-scripted FX show The League. He also has a starring role on Comedy Central's The Nick Kroll Show.
Poehler plays the mid-level bureaucrat Leslie Knope on the NBC comedy "Parks and Recreation."
Poehler and Arnett separated after nine years of marriage. They have two sons, Archie, 4, and Abel, 2.
Arnett seems to be doing alright, in light of his ex-wife showing up to an event with a new guy. He recently told Details magazine that he'd "found his happiness," injecting his eternally present humor into his sentiments.
"I'm 43 and I've found my happiness, which is my kids," he said. "I'm not officially dating. I don't know what you do. Do you put out an announcement in the trades? I'M DATING! It all seems very scary to me, to be honest. So I'm kind of keeping pretty close counsel right now."
