Chris Brown came to girlfriend Karrueche Tran’s defense after he believed the hosts at “The Real” disrespected her on their show.
Brown, 25, took to his Instagram account to slam “The Real” host Adrienne Bailon and Tamar Braxton for commenting on his relationship with Tran, which has been in and out of the tabloids since they began dating. However, the 25-year-old singer took down his rant after realizing he could have handled the situation better.
“Yesterday’s roast was amusing to some and disrespectful to others,” Brown wrote on his Instagram. “All in all the whole s— was childish. I could’ve have been politically correct and went about the situation more civilized but I’m not fake nor do I need to ever comment on anyone’s life.
“I felt the need to say what I felt. It seems everyone can always have an opinion on ‘CHRIS BROWN’ and chime in whenever they want. The show was depicting relationships. They gave their views on my relationship by bashing my significant other for being with me publicly on national television. There are too many Pots calling the kettle black.”
A source close to Brown told Hollywood Life he isn’t going to apologize to Bailon or Braxton for the comments he made about them. As far as Brown’s concerned, he was defending his girlfriend and the hosts had no right to talk about her on the show.
Tran also took to Instagram to throw in her thoughts on the situation and how she felt about the talk show hosts’ comments.
“Unlike most of you… I could care less about the opinions of others.. Drama doesn’t amuse me – so yes @tamarbraxton I do have a voice, just not like yours.. However my bf I can’t speak for.. We all know he has no chill. Just like everyone else out there – he has an opinion,” Tran wrote.
“Have you ever thought to yourself how it may feel being judged for everything you do and half the time people have no clue what is going on? You people invest so much of your time in other peoples lives and business and get mad when they have something to say back?! If you can dish it.. You gotta be able to take it.”
