Beyoncé Knowles topped Forbes' 2014 list of the highest paid women in music, doubling her own salary from 2013.
The R&B singer brought home $115 million this year. Forbes credits her 95 concerts over the course of the year and the surprise release of her album in Dec. 2013, her endorsement deals with H&M and Pepsi, and the Mrs. Carter World Tour (bringing in $2.4 million per city) as the main sources of her booming financial growth this year.
Beyoncé's salary could theoretically skyrocket even more if the rumors are true that she is releasing a new album this month.
Forbes' list of the highest paid women in music was calculated by the stars' incomes from touring, record sales, publishing, merchandise sales and endorsements. Forbes also conducted interviews with managers, lawyers and executives and used data from Pollstar, the RIAA and Nielsen SoundScan.
Following Beyoncé on Forbes' list is Taylor Swift ($64 million), Pink ($52 million), Rihanna $48 million), Katy Perry ($40 million).
