NBA RUMORS: Duke’s Jahlil Okafor One-And-Done?

Duke's Jahlil Okafor is one of the more hyped prospects to come along in recent memory. He's currently the top ranked player in ESPN Insider Chad Ford's Top 100. It is widely believed that he will be one of the best players in all of college basketball this coming season. However, Duke fans shouldn't expect an extended stay from the 18-year-old center.

"We won't have him long," head coach Mike Krzyzewski told The Herald-Sun. "We'll have him this year and then hel'll be one of the top (NBA) picks."

Here's what Ford had to say of Okafor:

"Okafor didn't play in any of the major camps this summer, but scouts in the know said he did the one thing that every scout had been hoping he'd do - he lost a little weight," Ford wrote. "Conditioning was one area where Okafor was dinged. However, he's expected to be better athletically with a slightly thinner frame. From a skills standpoint, he's going to be tough to beat. While he's not a ock to be the No. 1 pick in the draft - he'll get stiff competition from Emmanuel Mudiay and Karl-Anthony Towns, he's still the favorite at this point heading into the season."

The Philadelphia 76ers, Los Angeles Lakers and Orlando Magic are all expected to be in play for the top pick in next year's NBA draft.
