Britney Spears has got a new man ... again. That sure was quick!
The 32-year-old "Perfume" singer is reportedly dating producer and writer Charlie Ebersol, who is also the son of veteran TV producer and co-creator of "Saturday Night Live" Dick Ebersol.
"Yes, there is a special someone," she told Extra. "It's very new."
"They met through friends," a source told E! News about the rumored couple. "He is the sweetest guy ever and they are very much enjoying getting to know one another. They are both very happy and having fun. It's just the beginning so no idea if it will become serious but right now they are having a lot of fun together."
Ebersol has been romantically linked to Sophia Bush and Maria Sharapova. His producing credits include TV series "The Great Escape," "The Moment," Race to the Scene" and "The Profit."
In August, Us Weekly reported that that the pop star split with boyfriend David Lucado after reports suffered that the Virginia-based attorney cheated on Spears. TMZ reported that Lucado was spotted dancing and "making out" with another woman.
"Ahhhh the single life!" she tweeted at the time.
"So I know you know my boyfriend cheated on me," she told the audience during her Las Vegas show in September. "But the best thing about being cheated on is I get to go on more first dates."
Prior to dating Lucado, the singer was engaged to Jason Trawick, however the couple split in January 2013. In a prepared statement, Spears said, "Jason and I have decided to call off our engagement. I'll always adore him and we will remain great friends."
In a separate statement Trawick added, "As this chapter ends for us a new one begins. I love and cherish her and her boys and we will be close forever."
