Zalman's Bankruptcy Reports Not True, Company Says

Zalman, the maker of low-noise PC cooling products, has issued a statement in the light of recently emerged reports stating the company had gone bankrupt. Early this week reports of bankruptcy filing came out due to a fraud carried out by its parent company, Moneua. But the PC cooling expert has rubbished all rumors by assuring its customers that the company is not going bankrupt.

For immediate release, the Korean firm issued a statement to Tom's Hardware and promised a detailed statement by the end of this month. According to the report, Zalman's financial status isn't trending upward but it hasn't also led to an end of operations.

"There were pretty glaring things that were just made up about the movie that made it pretty hard to take seriously," a company representative said on Friday. "I think the real story is just a lot of hard work. I wanted to assure you that these rumors of Zalman HQ going bankrupt are completely false. While our HQ is having some financial difficulties due to the recent troubles experienced by Moneual, Zalman is not going bankrupt."

Based on the rumors so far, Moneual acquired Zalman in 2011. The company's top management forged Zalman's export and accounting documents by overstating their income in order to win huge bank loans. Moneual, a robot vacuum cleaner manufacturing firm, failed to repay export bonds worth $500 billion and filed for bankruptcy, The Korea Times reported.

Based on the statement issued by a Zalman spokesperson, its customers will continue to receive similar support and warranties on products. The company is expected to launch the new Z11 Neo PC Case in the North American market soon.
