Cleveland's 1-3 start is somewhat reminiscent of LeBron James's start in Miami. It takes time for a team to gel, but that hasn't stopped pundits from questioning why Cleveland has lost two straight. Their latest loss came on Wednesday in a 102-100 to-the-wire game against the Utah Jazz.

After point guard Kyrie Irving recorded 34 points and no assists in the loss, James acknowledged the guard had some adjustments to make.

"There's a lot of bad habits, a lot of bad habits been built up the past couple years," James said, via ESPN. "When you play that style of basketball, it takes a lot to get it up out of you."

James didn't just put the blame for the lack of assists on Irving, either.

"I still got to figure out ways to get my teammates involved, too," James said. "Cause it just can't be a one-, two- or three-man show. We have to do it together."

Cleveland has also struggled on defense, often giving up easy points in the paint and getting outrebounded.

"We're going to get every team's best shot and we've got to understand we've got to play defense," veteran Shawn Marion said. "We've got to guard somebody. It's easy to get points, but if you don't play defense you're not going to give yourself a chance."

Denver, meanwhile, has the same record as Cleveland. They head into Friday's game looking to snap a three-game losing streak, with their latest loss coming in a 131-109 blowout at Sacramento.
