College Football Poll: Who’s Up and Who’s Down?

The college football season is so exciting because every single game is crucial. This week saw its fair share of big wins and big upsets that shook up the AP Top 25 some.

Remaining unshaken are the top two teams for the fifth straight week. Mississippi State (9-0) and Florida State (9-0) remain the only unbeaten teams in the Top 25. The No. 1 Bulldogs received 49 first-place votes while the No. 2 Seminoles received 12.

Oregon rose to No. 3, past Alabama, which stayed at No. 4. TCU moved up one spot into the top five.

Baylor enjoyed a nice four-spot climb to sixth after the Bears dismantled Oklahoma 48-14. Oklahoma is now out of the rankings for the first time since the last ranking of 2009. West Virginia also dropped out of the poll.

Arizona State also rose four spots to No. 7 after an impressive 55-31 win over Notre Dame. Ohio State moved into the top 10 at No. 8 after a 49-37 win over Michigan State, which fell to No. 12.

Texas A&M enjoyed the biggest upset of the week by beating Auburn 41-38. The Tigers fell all the way from third to ninth as a result. LSU's playoff chances took a major hit thanks to a 20-13 overtime loss to Alabama that dropped the team to No. 20.

Georgia Tech snuck back into the rankings at No. 24. No. 23 Colorado State (9-1) is celebrating its first ranking in 11 years.
