Three Florida men were arrested last Friday for allegedly tricking women into meeting them before robbing and raping them at gunpoint, according to The Sun-Sentinel.

Convicted felons Frankie Lee Gatlin Jr., 20, Britton Blackwood and Kinshon Johnekins, both 19, were charged with sexual battery, robbery, false imprisonment and other charges for a string of recent rapes in Miramar, local police said.

In September, Gatlin and Blackwood used social media to convince two Port Charlotte women to meet them in Miramar, where they were raped, police said. Investigators would not offer details as to the nature of the online conversations.

"Both women were held at gunpoint. Both women were raped by both of these individuals," Miramar police spokeswoman Tania Rues told The Sun-Sentinel. "Their personal belongings were also stolen."

Blackwood and Johnekins allegedly raped another woman in late October as she sat in her car in a KFC parking lot after leaving a club, CBS Miami reported.

"As this victim was punching her home address into her GPS, two men approached her with weapons," Rues told the station. "These two men raped this girl in her vehicle. They threatened her. They told her if she reported the crime, they would kill her."

The woman immediately reported the attack, police said. Surveillance cameras in the area and DNA evidence linked both Blackwood and Johnekins to the rape, CBS Miami reported.

Miramar police are looking into a fourth incident that occurred last Friday where two women were attacked.

"They were texting and they agreed to meet at a residence that turned out to be a vacant home," Rues told the Sun-Sentinel. "Both were held at gunpoint, one was raped."

Johnekins has been named as a suspect in the latest rape but as of Monday he has not been charged for that attack.

Police suspect the accused men have terrorized more women.

"We do believe that there are potentially other victims out there, so we're asking them to please come forward and call the Miramar Police Department," Rues told the newspaper.
