Philadelphia came away with a 31-21 win last week against the Houston Texans, despite losing quarterback Nick Foles to a broken collarbone. Foles won't undergo surgery and could return within six weeks, putting the offense into the hands of backup Mark Sanchez. The ex-New York Jet went 15 of 22 for 202 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. Although Sanchez hasn't started a regular game in almost two years, coach Chip Kelly is confident the offense can seamlessly run through him.

"He's already ready, he's always focused and always prepared to make plays and that's part of his makeup," Kelly said, via ESPN. "That's what we really liked about him."

Eagles receiver Jeremy Maclin, who caught a 52-yard pass from Sanchez against the Texans, also expressed his support for Sanchez.

"He plays at a high level," said Maclin. "I think he is one of the more game-ready backup quarterbacks in this league."

Carolina, meanwhile, is 3-5-1 after losing three straight games. Their latest defeat - a 28-10 loss against New Orleans - dropped them from the top spot in the NFC South.

"I've been in a race like this before, we all have," coach Ron Rivera said. "It ends up being the team that comes back, that gets up and keeps fighting. The next thing you know, you're right in the thick of things."

Carolina could have three offensive linemen - Byron Bell, Amini Silatolu and Trai Turner - back on Monday, according to ESPN. The return of the three linemen would be a boost to quarterback Cam Newton, who hasn't thrown for a touchdown since Oct. 19.
