The Graysons are coming to "Gotham." According to reports, fans of Fox's Batman prequel "Gotham" could see The Graysons pop up in future episodes. Ben McKenzie, who plays Det. James Gordon, told The Daily Beast that Robin's family might be added to the series.
"The Graysons may appear this season," he said. "I'm not 100 percent sure yet, but I think so."
Because "Gotham" focuses on the comic book characters' lives before they became iconic heroes and villains, Dick Grayson (who eventually becomes Robin) will most likely be a young boy. The Graysons appearance in the show could also mean that it focuses on Dick's parents or older relatives.
McKenzie also told The Daily Beast that his character will have a new love interest. "Homeland" actress Morena Baccarin just joined the show as Dr. Leslie Thompkins and McKenzie claims that Gordon and Leslie will be a lot more than just friends.
"They just hired Morena Baccarin on 'Gotham' to play my love interest, Dr. Leslie Thompkins, and she said, 'Hey, I did an episode of The O.C.!' and I was like, 'What!?'" he said.
According to The Daily Beast, Leslie won't appear in the series until 2015. Joining Baccarin on "Gotham" will be Nicholas D'Agosto in the role of Harvey Dent. Fox released a sneak peek for next week's episode, appropriately titled "Harvey Dent," which shows the character teaming up with Gordon to solve the Wayne murder.
"Gotham" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on Fox.
