"Boyfriend" singer Justin Bieber is in even more trouble after another paparazzi run-in involving his bodyguards. TMZ reports that Bieber and one of his bodyguards are being sued by a celebrity photographer after he allegedly told the bodyguard to attack the photographer. The photographer also claims the guard stole his memory card.
According to the celebrity website, Jeffrey Binion filed a police report claiming that after he tried to take photos of Justin Bieber outside of Miami's Hit Factory recording studio, the singer's bodyguard attacked him. In the lawsuit, which was obtained by TMZ, Binion said Bieber order Hugo Hesney to "throw the photographer up against a wall." He also said Hesney chocked him and lifted up his shirt to show he had a gun. At the same time another bodyguard reportedly grabbed Binion's camera and took the memory card out of it.
Binion said because of the attack he suffered bodily injury, pain and mental anguish. He also said he sought medical treatment for his injuries.
"Justin Bieber is now an adult, and he should act like one. He needs to learn that he cannot use bodyguards as weapons to harm innocent people," Russell Adler, Binion's lawyer told TMZ. "Bieber's violent behavior toward photographers must end, and he should take responsibility for his actions."
Adler told the website that Hesney does not have the proper paper work to carry a gun and he is not authorized to be a bodyguard in the state of Florida.
"No amount of fame or fortune justifies Bieber's shameful and outrageous conduct. To send him that message and deter his misbehavior in the future, we will seek punitive damages against him as allowed by Florida law," Adler said.
This is not the first time the "Beauty and the Beat" singer has had altercations with photographers. Recently he has had four similar incidents, three in Miami and one in Hollywood.
Bieber was at a hookah lounge in Hollywood when a regular person tried to snap a picture of Bieber and he got angry. Reportedly his bodyguards tried to stop the person and an altercation broke out. According to TMZ, the person eventually called the cops but Bieber and his team had already left by the time they arrived.
During similar altercations in Miami, Bieber was reportedly leaving a Miami Heat's game when a person tried to take a picture of the pop singer at the American Airlines Arena. Again Bieber directed his team to get rid of the photo. When his bodyguard's approached the person and told him to delete the photo from his cell phone, the person refused. Before an altercation could break out, American Airlines security supposedly told Bieber's bodyguard to "get lost."
