U.K. Burger Joint Tuk Tuk Hunter Valley Owner Calls Vegan Customer Nazi

The owner of a U.K. burger restaurant called Tuk Tuk Hunter Valley is refusing to apologize for calling a vegan customer "Nazi-like" in a Facebook comment, despite the death threats he has been receiving since the incident.

Owner Mark Clews allegedly told the angry customer that he wasn't going to clean off the grill to cook her vegan order and she ate it anyway, reports News.au. After she ate the food and left the store he wrote about her on the company's Facebook page.

The restaurant has deleted the posts and replies since the incident, but screenshots of them were posted on Facebook:

"I wasn't disrespectful at all," Clews said to News.au. "There have been a lot of lies told on the internet, it's exaggerated and stupid. It was taken out of context. It was a humorous anecdote. I was surprised by the indignation."
