Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy feel comfortable with their young marriage to air it publicly in a new reality series.
The couple, married on Aug. 31, will star in the new A&E show "Donnie Loves Jenny." The 10-episode first season will premiere in 2015. The cable network also host "Wahlburgers," which stars Wahlberg and his brothers Paul and Mark.
"Not only have we found a new home together, we have found the perfect place for our exciting new projects to live with A&E Network," Wahlberg and McCarthy, who will serve as co-producers, said in a statement.
"Our feeling is, who better to make our first show for the network about than about us? We love working together and with our crazy schedules this gives us the chance to both work and play together."
The unscripted docuseries will premiere with a one-hour wedding episode feature behind-the-scenes footage from the couple's big day. The remaining nine episodes will follow the newlyweds as they try to "navigate... blending their families and balancing their busy schedules," according to A&E.
"We're thrilled to join Donnie and Jenny as they begin the next chapter of their lives," said David McKillop, General Manager and Executive Vice President of A&E. "Viewers have enjoyed following their relationship on 'Wahlburgers' and we look forward to sharing this next part of their journey."
Wahlberg had two children with his ex-wife Kimberly Fey and McCarthy had one with her ex-husband John Asher. Wahlberg stars in the CBS series "Blue Bloods" and continues to tour with his boy band New Kids on the Block, who reunited in 2008.
McCarthy hosts a new daily live morning radio show on Sirius XM called "Dirty, Sexy, Funny with Jenny McCarthy" where she discusses sex, relationships, pop culture and current events. She previously starred on "The View," but was let go at the end of last season.
