Celebrity Quick Chat: HNGN Correspondent Marina Anderson Dishes With Craig Ferguson, David Arquette Of 'Celebrity Name Game'

While channel surfing, I landed on what I thought was "just another" hyped game show. I thought the white noise in the background would be conducive to working on a project, but I soon found myself yelling clues and answers at the TV. They got me!

CELEBRITY NAME GAME is the new burst-out-laughing syndicated television hit game show. This half-hour weekday strip happens to be executive produced by funny people and celebs themselves – Courteney Cox and David Arquette. Known to give people late-night belly laughs, and one of my personal faves, Emmy-nominated ("The Late Late Show") Craig Ferguson, lends his comedic and improv talents to "Celebrity Name Game" as the show's host. Ferguson skillfully weaves in and out of jokes and spins the pace into a whirlwind of laughter and fun. Great endorphin rush, especially with Sherri Shepherd as one of their celebrity guest contestants.

Competing in three speed rounds to win up to $20,000, celebrities are paired with contestants in order to identify – yes, you guessed it – celebrities, based on improvised clues. They cover the bases from real to fictional people (or characters): pop culture figures to singers, politicians, cartoon characters, actors to athletes.

Watch Sherri's episode this Friday, Nov. 14. Check your local listings for airtime.
