Golden State (5-2) started the season with five straight wins but is now trying to snap a two-game losing streak. The Phoenix Suns ended the Warriors' five-game run on Sunday, and the Warriors were unable to bounce back Tuesday against the San Antonio Spurs.

"Our turnovers were killing us. We're way too talented not to get a shot off every possession," Warriors guard Klay Thompson said of the team's 20 turnovers against San Antonio, via ESPN. "We're going to have turnovers every game, we just have to cut them down. Thank God it's early November and not mid-April or anything. I know we're going to fix it. We have too many vets and too many great players not to."

Turnovers - Golden State leads the league with 22.1 turnovers per game - have been an issue all season with the Warriors. While some of the blame could be the roster growing accustomed to first-year coach Steve Kerr, Thompson is optimistic the turnovers will decrease in time.

"We've been together since early October," he said, "so in these next few games you should hopefully see us (cut) our number down maybe two or three a game and the week after that maybe four or five."

Brooklyn (4-2) is also coming off a loss. Their latest defeat came at the hands of the Phoenix Suns, 112-104. The Nets blew a 19-point lead after being outscored 63-41 in the second half, according to ESPN.

"We just got into a rut. We obviously couldn't get stops, and we couldn't score," said Nets guard Joe Johnson. "That is probably the toughest part. We couldn't come up with the big plays. To blow such a big lead, that is hard to swallow."
