Domino's Customers Can Track Pizza Orders with Pebble Smartwatch

Domino's Pizza is joining the wearable craze, as it is now letting customers use the Pebble smartwatch to track their orders.

With the new Domino's Tracker app, you will be able to see when you placed your order, when the pizza is ready and when the delivery person is leaving to bring you your dinner, according to PC Magazine.

Shobeir Shobeiri from Pebble's business development team said the company is excited about its collaboration with Domino's, which marks the first time the pizza chain has made its tracker available on a wearable device.

"We designed Pebble to mesh seamlessly into your life, and the Domino's Tracker app is a natural addition to our growing appstore," Shobeiri said.

Those who don't own a Pebble watch will also be able to use their iOS or Android mobile device to track their Domino's orders, Digital Trends reported.

Domino's is the latest food chain to provide apps for its customers, with others including Taco Bell, which now has an app that lets users make their own tacos and burritos.

The Pebble integration is also the most recent move Domino's has made towards making technology more involved in its services, according to PC Magazine. The company experimented with drones last year as a new way to deliver pizza.

Those who don't like Domino's still have other pizza-related apps to try out, such as Push for Pizza, Digital Trends reported.

Pizza lovers can download the Domino's Tracker app now for free from the Pebble app store, Google Play Store, or iOS App store.
