Eisenberg has taken precaution against spoilers by hiding his hair on the “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” set. He’s been spotted with bandanas and caps, but was also photographed with a fan sporting a full head of hair.
There have been multiple rumors claiming Eisenberg’s character Lex Luthor would be transitioning into the villain throughout the film. The “Batman vs. Superman” production never confirmed if fans would get to see Lex’s iconic bald look in the film.
However, Eisenberg has teased fans about his “Batman vs. Superman” role. The actor spoke to TotalFilm back in August about the changes the production’s script writer has made to his Lex Luthor character.
"There are some indications of how the character should behave based on the script, and then as actor makes it his or her own," Eisenberg said. "I got to know one of the writers really well, Chris Terrio, and we were able to discuss things at length and figure out who this person is to create a real psychology behind what is, perhaps, in a comic book, a less than totally modern psychology. I can only say I've been asked to play an interesting role: a complicated, challenging person."
Eisenberg added he didn’t take on the role to get a big box office hit under his belt. He was genuinely interested in the role and would never take on a project for a paycheck.
"They asked me if I wanted to play the part before they sent me the script. I'm not sure how it worked, but it's something I read with the understanding that I could do the role,” he told TotalFilm. “…You know, they don't just hand the scripts out. But I really liked it on its own terms. I would do it if it was for free and it was tiny."
“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” will be released to theaters on March 25, 2016.
