For all true "Glee" fans - here's some news that will ease the pain.
The show's creators, Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, are reassuring fans that Blaine and Kurt's relationship is safe...you can stop holding your breath now.
It was recently revealed that Max Adler's character Dave Karofsky (Kurt's former bully and closeted homosexual) would be returning to Lima. His character is expected to become "romantically entangled with" Blaine, played by Darren Criss, according to E! Online.
This news, of course, caused a tizzy among some die-hard "Glee" fans.
However, co-creator Brad Falchuk promised that things between Blaine and Kurt, played by Chris Colfer, will turn out fine.
"It's Glee. Be happy. It's going to be OK," Falchuk said.
So, how bad was the response about Karofsky's return to the series?
"I have a lot of angry tweets," Falchuk admitted. "But look, it's a new season and we're exploring some stuff. We love Kurt. We love Blaine. We love them together. We love them apart. We love them all kinds of ways. And I think that their relationship is a really great place to explore some more complicated stories. Really, it's going to be OK."
Back to what's important - does this mean the ultimate happy ending for Blaine and Kurt?
"You have to have obstacles to have a happy ending," Murphy explained. "I've spent a year learning what they want. We have a list in the writers' room that says, 'What do the fans want to end that show?' And our endings are all very uplifting, and I think by the end of it, people will be ecstatic and really thrilled by how things turn out. I am."
Adler will appear in at least four episodes of the sixth and final season of "Glee." The show will return in early 2015 with only 13 episodes.
Expected to return are several of the show's original actors including Lea Michelle, Heather Morris, Naya Rivera, Dianna Agron and Mark Salling.
