John Wayne Bobbit is injured again, but this time on the top half of his body.
Bobbit, who rose to infamy after his wife cut off his penis, broke his neck in a car accident on Tuesday, the New York Daily News reported.
Another car T-boned his Jeep as he was on his way to visit his brother in Buffalo. Bobbit, 47, broke a vertebrae and suffered a slipped disk in his back. He is expected to make a full recovery without lasting effects, TMZ reported.
Bobbit's wife at the time, Lorena, chopped off his penis in Virginia in 1993 as punishment for persistent sexual and physical abuse.
She told police that Bobbit, then 26, came home drunk at night and raped her. Lorena Bobbit, then 22, went into the kitchen and grabbed a knife before beginning to saw away at her husband's privates.
She got in her car, threw his penis out the window into a field not too far away, and called 911. Doctors were able to reattach the organ - a surgery that took 9 1/2 hours to finish.
Lorena Bobbit was acquitted from charges by reason of insanity. The couple divorced in 1995.
Bobbit tried to ride his fame out by starring in at least two adult films - "John Wayne Bobbit Uncut" and "Frankenpenis."
In 2009, Lorena Bobbit told Oprah she regrets marrying Bobbit and now has a new life and a daughter.
