This is getting serious: Britney Spears new beau has reportedly hit it off well with her family.
The 32-year-old singer has introduced her new boyfriend Charlie Ebersol to her sons: 9-year-old Sean and 8-year-old Jayden. Ebersol, a writer and producer, has already received the "stamp of approval " from the pop star's other family members, People Magazine reports.
"They are very excited that she is dating Charlie. He does well financially and is very private," an insider told People. "They don't have to worry about whether he is using Britney."
The insider described Ebersol as being "driven, smart and ambitious." Ebersol, son of "Saturday Night Live" co-creator Dick Ebersol and actress Susan Saint James, started his own production company at 27.
Spears and Ebersol were introduced threw friends and have been spending time getting to know one another. In a recent interview with "Extra," the singer referred to Ebersol as someone special.
"He is the sweetest guy ever and they are very much enjoying getting to know one another," a source told E! News about the couple. "They are both very happy and having fun. It's just the beginning so no idea if it will become serious, but right now they are having a lot of fun together."
Last week, the "Perfume" singer posted a selfie of herself and Ebersol on her Instagram page.
The insider said: "She has been in the best mood. She finds him cute and funny. She loves having someone to share her life with."
