Sex Slaves Held Captive In Cincinnati Man's Home

A Cincinnati man pleaded guilty last week for holding at least 12 women captive in his home and selling them for sex in multiple cities for up to two years.

Christopher Hisle, 45, was arrested while in route with one of his victims to a Louisville motel from Cincinnati to prostitute her, International Business Times reported.

The arrest led to the police investigation where it was uncovered that he was abusing and prostituting the woman being held captive in his house.

Hisle was using the women as sex slaves over the course of two years and authorities are unsure of how many woman he held at one time or what their ages were. Authorities say there were "at least 12" victims.

The woman were trapped in Hisle's home, as all the windows were boarded up and locked. The front door was the only way out and Hisle always carried the only key, IBT reported.

One woman escaped the house once, but she was captured and brought back by Hisle, Assistant Attorney General Vanita Gupta for the Western District of Kentucky said in a release.

"This defendant preyed on vulnerable young victims and cruelly exploited them for his profit," Gupta also said in the release.

Hisle was sly in his sex trafficking, as the neighbors apparently had no idea what was going on in the house.

"My jaw hit the floor when I heard his name on the news," a woman, who asked not to be identified, said to Cincinnati.com. "On Mother's Day a few years ago, he came over and cut my grass. I was shocked, especially of him. I never heard anything from over there, and I don't like noise."

Hisle pleaded guilty on Friday and faces a minimum sentence of 15 years in prison. He is due to be sentenced on Feb. 9, 2015.
