One Direction performed single "Night Changes" Tuesday among other hit songs on the Today Show while promoting their new album, although they were down one member - Zayn Malik.
The performance was yet another teaser for the single's music video which is scheduled to debut Nov. 21.
The guys clearly stole the hearts of their teenage fans when they sung the song on the "Today Show."A teaser of the video appears that it will do the same as one clip released by the British boyband revealed Zayn Malik making deep eye contact with the camera over a romantic candle-lit dinner.
Zayn may have pumped up the girls in the teaser for the music video, but he was absent in the band's appearance on the "Today Show" in Florida on Tuesday.
On the show, Matt Lauer started the interview by asking the guys why they were short one member of the tour - especially right after allegations surfaced of Zayn using drugs.
Liam Payne responded by saying Zayn has a "tummy bug so he's not very well," adding "We only found out this morning so we're really sad, he is as well, that he can't be here for our album release."
The guys denied the substance abuse allegations by saying he just needed some rest to recover from his stomach bug. Shortly after #GetWellSoonZayn started trending on Twitter.
