Justin Bieber Goes On Religious Mission And Learns How To Spread The Word Of God

Justin Bieber has gone forth on a spiritual mission to learn how to spread the word of God to all his Beliebers.

The troubled pop idol left behind his hard party antics and secluded himself at Rancho Mirage outside of Palm Springs for two weeks, according to TMZ. Bieber plans to work with Pastor Carl Lentz, who baptized the singer in a bathtub in New York City over the summer, to learn how to teach others about God.

The "Heartbreaker" singer called up Lentz as he struggled with the repercussions of his racist videos that went viral in May. He spent the month doing "intense Bible study" and attending services in anticipation of his bathtub baptism, according to TMZ.

Bieber consulted with various churches, but couldn't find a place for the private affair. Instead he chose the bathtub of one of his friends to perform the ceremony.

The 20-year-old performer has spent the latter half of the year trying to put his life back on the straight and narrow after several run-ins with the law earlier this year and another break up with Selena Gomez. He recently informed his loyal fan base that he had given up smoking marijuana.

"I'm off that. Making a change in my life," Beiber wrote in an exchange with fans on Fahlo.

Bieber teased a new album over the summer, but has not announced an official release date. He did release a new single called "Home to Mama" with Cody Simpson.
