Lane Bryant Clothing Urinated On By Woman's Dog, Police Search For Suspect

Theresa Tumbleson, 35, of New Jersey, is being sought by police for allegedly letting her small dog relieve itself on 11 pairs of pants and 14 dresses in a Lane Bryant clothing store, the Smoking Gun reported.

Tumbleson let her pet urinate in the Toms River clothing store, causing more than $2,000 in damages, police said.

Store workers noticed and asked her to leave the premises. At that point she became angered and disoriented, prompting them to call 911 for help.

Tumbleson drove off before officers were able to question her and ran several red lights while they were on her tail. The road was wet at a certain point, and officers called off the chase because it might have been too dangerous for other drivers.

She is wanted on charges of obstruction and eluding police. She was identified by physical description and her license plate.

A similar incident happened in Walmart in 2010, but an animal wasn't doing the urinating. Christina Cifaldi, 22, was arrested after employees allegedly saw her grabbing $163 worth of clothing, bringing the items into a dressing room and urinating on them before leaving the store. She forgot her wallet, which is how police identified her, the Miami New Times reported.
