L.A. Lakers Vs. Houston Rockets Live Stream & Radio: Kobe Bryant & Dwight Howard Meet Again (WATCH/LISTEN)

Los Angeles (2-9) is struggling, but superstar Kobe Bryant isn't. After two serious injuries in as many years, 36-year-old Bryant has been on fire with 27.4 points per game. Tuesday's 114-109 victory at Atlanta not only gave the Lakers their second win, it propelled Bryant beyond the 32,000 career-points mark, making Bryant just the fourth player to surpass it.

In typical Bryant fashion, though, he shrugged off the milestone.

"There's always something, especially with me," Bryant said after the game, according to the Washington Post. "First, it's 'I can't come back and play.' Now it's, 'Well he's not playing well enough.' Well, you just said I'd be in a wheelchair and I wouldn't be able to play at all. I won't even waste my time trying to shut people up."

Facing Houston could give Bryant even more motivation to have a big scoring night. The last time the two teams met, Bryant got into a verbal altercation with Rockets star Dwight Howard, whom Bryant purportedly called "soft," among other things.

Lakers coach Byron Scott said at the time Bryant and Howard simply didn't like each other, but Bryant disagreed, describing Howard as a "teddy bear" and a "really nice kid."

For his part, Howard declined to get rehash the incident when asked about.

"There's no need to go into it. We won the game," said Howard, via ESPN. "It's over with. It's about basketball. I'm not even focused on it."

Houston (9-2) is looking to bounce back from their 119-93 loss Monday at Memphis.
