Stéphanie Beaudoin, 'World's Sexist Criminal,' Apologized

The 21-year-old Canadian nursing student who was dubbed the "world's sexiest criminal" after being accused of more than 100 crimes apologized.

"I acted on a whim, and at a bad time. I'm suffering the consequences now, which is the right thing, too," Stéphanie Beaudoin said in French to Canadian news site La Nouvelle Union.

In September Beaudoin was accused of 114 crimes - including theft and criminally owning guns. Her lawyers say she is prepared to enter a guilty plea for about 30 of the previous accusations in a plea deal with hopes that Canadian prosecutors will drop the rest, Mail Online reported.

"I regret my actions," Beaudoin said in court.

The maximum possible sentence for Beaudoin is life in prison.

The sexy crook didn't work alone - she was accompanied by three underage teens who helped her break in homes using back doors and basement windows. The teens are being tried in a Canadian youth court.

"I think, with the available information, that she did what she did after a period of depression, which made itself felt," Denis Lavigne, Beaudoin's lawyer, said in court.

Beaudoin's mental state will be evaluated in a pre-sentencing report before she is due back in court on Dec. 9.
