'Captain Marvel' Movie: Natalie Dormer To Play Carol Danvers In Female Superhero Film? (RUMORS)

Natalie Dormer is currently one of the fan favorite actresses who many want to see play Captain Marvel in the film adaptation.

The “Game of Thrones” actress is well aware of the rumors flying about her involvement in superhero franchises, but refuse to comment on an the Marvel rumblings during an interview with Collider.

“I’m not going to comment about potential jobs in the future because that’s a rabbit hole to go down and get caught up in, but all Ill say is I’ll go where the good scripts are,” Dormer said. “For me, [Hunger Games], Game of Thrones, all my other work, I’ll just go where the good scripts are.”

Dormer is currently playing Cressida in the final to “Hunger Games” films.

“I love being part of huge mega blockbusters and a I love being a part of small independent films and small stage,” she added. “I’m just looking at the material. I want to know the character and I want to know the text, and then the decision I make from there.”

Dormer didn’t exactly deny the Captain Marvel rumors, but is aware her time on the “Game of Thrones” set could end at any moment.

During an interview on Conan O'Brien’s late night show, Dormer explained she’s truly unaware as to what is going to happen with Margaery Tyrell in the “Game of Thrones” series.

Dormer knows showrunners could end her life now that the series is quickly surpassing the books. However, if her character needs to die, she would hope it be at the hands of Daenerys Targaryen. Check out the video below to see how Dormer envisions her “Game of Thrones” death.
