Substitute Teacher Accused Of Buying Pornography From Student

A Pennsylvania substitute teacher is accused of purchasing sexual images of female students from a fellow classmate, Kansas.com reported.

Jon Serianni, 41, was charged with child pornography and corruption on Tuesday after investigators found 190 pictures of girls posing suggestively on his phone.

The man was a substitute teacher in the Cameron County School District and texted one of the boys about buying the photos from him. According to police, the boy received no more than $300 from Serianni, and was said to be offered $15 to $25 for each image, the Daily Mail reported.

Before long, word of the sale had gotten back to the female student featured in the photos. The boy admitted to sending the photos.

Police searched the teacher's home and found video game systems and consoles, 20 CDs, two external hard drives, eight memory cards, two laptop computers and a number of cameras. He may face further charges pending the conclusion of the investigation.

Serianni will be at the Cameron County Courthouse on Jan. 22 to face a preliminary hearing.
