Motorola is now selling a device will come in handy the next time you forget where you left your keys or your phone.
The Keylink keychain achieves this by working with the Motorola Connect App, which provides a map on your phone that you can use to make the keychain ring, according to Gizmodo. Smartphone owners can use the device to make the lost handset ring as long as the phone is within 100 feet from the device.
Charging the Keylink won't be an issue since the device comes with a battery estimated to last for about a year.
Connect is currently available to download for Android and iOS devices, PC Magazine reported.
Motorola said owners of a second-generation Moto X, Droid Turbo or an Android phone running 5.0 Lollipop can enable the trusted device settings so they don't have to unlock their phones when their keys are close by.
"This way you don't have to enter your password to use it," the company added. "Just enable trusted devices by going into settings and then security."
The $25 Keylink is available now for Android devices, running version 4.3 of the OS or later, as well as iPhones running iOS 7.1 or later.
